The TPK-90A1/3000 conventional lathe, manufactured by FUM Poręba, has undergone a general overhaul along with adaptation to the minimum requirements for occupational health and safety in the use of machines.

The lathe has been equipped with a central lubrication system, the heart of which is the TSM/AP-3L-P pump with a built-in time relay for a single-line system. Ultimately, a digital position reading system will also be installed on the machine tool.
Scope of the overhaul:
The scope of the general overhaul of the TPK-90A1/3000 conventional lathe includes the mechanical and electrical parts, and the derivation of the geometry in accordance with the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and EN. During the general overhaul of the lathe, the mechanical part included: regeneration of body parts, grinding of all support guides with geometry setting (sticking with a special sliding lining and scraping of appropriate sliding surfaces), regeneration of the spindle cone, regeneration of the tool holder, renovation of the tailstock with the implementation of a new tailstock bushings, regeneration / or replacement of couplings, replacement of damaged bearings, gears, shafts, lead screws, nuts, regeneration of the hydraulic system, modernization of the lubrication system, cooling system, etc. The following safety guards were installed: for the chuck, tool post, rear safety guard and roll-up covers of the PAM series, made by MultiMasz, for protection of the lead screw and the lead shaft.
The renovation of the electrical part included mainly: review of all motors, new electrical installation (with all new wiring), new electrical cabinet at the back of the headstock, limit switches, new control panel, new led lighting - LED-10M lamp and steel cable guide.
The conventional lathes TPK series were manufactured by FUM „POREBA” Sp. z o.o. in Poreba city in Poland.
This Polish machine tools factory produced heavy lathes known all over the world, exporting them, among others, to the USA, Canada, Australia and Great Britain. Their advantage is the very high rigidity of the machine tool due to the use of large-size bodies with wide surfaces of sliding surfaces in the production of guides, which enables the machining of heavy details with a large diameter.
TPK series lathes are available in the TPK-80, TPK-90 version depending on the turning diameter over the bed and the turning lengths in the centers: 1500 mm, 2000 mm, 3000 mm, 4000 mm, 5000 mm, 6000 mm, 8000 mm, 10000 mm, 11000 mm, 12000 mm, 13000 mm, 14000 mm.

The TPK-90A1/3000 type conventional lathe offered after a complete overhaul, made by the MultiMasz company in Bralin, does not differ in technical parameters from the parameters of new lathes produced by the manufacturer.
