TUD 50/1000 universal lathe after general overhaul
Technical condition: the TUD 50/1000 type universal lathe manufactured by "WAFUM" Wrocław is offered after a complete renovation and adaptation to the minimum requirements for occupational health and safety. Today it works like new again, all technical parameters of the new machine tool have been restored.
NOTE: This lathe has hardened bed guides!
Basic technical parameters:
- Turning diameter over bed: 500 mm
- Turning diameter over carriage: 300 mm
- Turning length: 1000 mm
- Spindle bore: 56 mm
- 2-speed main motor: I/II speed - 4/6,7 kW
The lathe, after a general overhaul, was additionally equipped with a central lubrication system and prepared for the installation of a digital position reading system.
TUD-type universal lathes were manufactured by Wrocławska Fabryka Urządzeń Mechaniczne Wrocław "WAFUM" in Wrocław from the mid-1960s to the end of the 1970s.
TUD lathes are conventional (universal) lathes, considered to be one of the best lathes used in the machining industry for unit, small-series production involving turning external, internal, frontal surfaces, cones, metric threads, inch modular threads, Diametral-Pitch, etc.
The advantage of TUD lathes is the very high rigidity of the machine tool due to the use of a bed with a width of 433mm in the production.
TUD lathes are available in two options of technical parameters:
1. TUD-40 lathe with the following parameters: turning diameter over the bed 400 mm, over the carriage 225 mm, spindle bore 56 mm, spindle socket MT6, turning length in centers: 500, 750, 1000, 1500 and 2000 mm.
2. TUD-50 lathe with larger parameters: turning over the bed 500 mm, over the carriage 300 mm, spindle bore 56 mm, socket in the MT6 spindle, turning length in centers: 500, 750, 1000, 1500 and 2000 mm.
The TUD-50 type lathes offered after a general overhaul made by the MultiMasz company in Bralin do not differ in technical parameters from the parameters of new lathes produced by the manufacturer.
The scope of the overhaul of TUD lathes includes the repair of the mechanical part, the electrical part, the derivation of the geometry in accordance with the Technical Acceptance Conditions (WOT) and PN.
